FAQ

Visiting hours

We recommend visiting your loved ones between the hours of 7 am and 8 pm, 7 days a week. However, you are welcome to visit 24  hours a day. If you come outside our recommended visiting hours and no one at the front desk to let you in, please ring the doorbell to ensure access.

Do you have an activities program?

We create social programs to match the capabilities and needs of our residents. These can include musical performances, current events discussions, bookclubs, singing exercises, fitness activities, stretching exercises, religious meetings, outside performers, games, trivia, history, and volunteer involvement. We also encourage families to join us!

A monthly calendar is posted to keep residents informed of upcoming events such as birthday parties, movies, musical programs, outings, candlelight dinners, ice cream socials, and other special events. We always welcome friends and family to visit and attend our special events.

Can we bring a family pet to visit?

We love our furry friends and we welcome visits from family pets! Please keep your pet on a leash at all times and within your control.

Can children visit?

Yes, we encourage children to visit! However, we request that anyone displaying cold/flu symptoms refrain from visiting us until symptoms subside. Please discuss concerns with the charge nurse. Also, alert the charge nurse to anyone visiting the facility under the age of 12.

How can I send mail to a resident?

Mail is delivered to residents the same day it is received and in conjunction with the delivery schedules of USPS, FedEx, and Amazon.

What is an Ombudsman?

An Ombudsman is an advocate for residents. They are a third-party person NOT employed by the facility who comes by the facility periodically to monitor the activities of the facility. They are not able to tell the facility what to do but are a voice for a resident with a concern.
